My husband, Schalk, and I live on 5000h of farmland in the semi arid Karoo region of South Africa. The climate is dry and healthy for man and beast. When we first became aware of the Burmese breed of cat in the late 70's they were very hard to come by.
Our farm location in the Karoo
It was only in the early 80's that we managed to obtain a beautiful brown boy and fell head over heels in love with the breed
In 1994, when the last of my children had left school, we decided that the best way to keep the empty nest syndrome at bay would be to breed Burmese. We would also do our best to contribute toward the betterment of the breed. Today we have no regrets. Our cats live in our home and our kittens are all home-reared.
Of our recent litter there are two female kitties left.
